Out of the 10 variable dual fuel tariffs that we compared, EDF Energy's 'Standard' tariff was the 3rd most expensive, £58.55 more expensive than the cheapest tariff, SSE's 'Standard'. It is, however, still £144.97 cheaper than First Utility's 'First Variable Direct Debit eBill, which was the most expensive.

Out of the 10 fixed dual fuel tariffs that we compared, EDF Energy's 'Blue: Price Protection' tariff turned out to be the 5th cheapest, leaving it £152.41 cheaper than the most expensive, British Gas's HomeEnergy Fixed Mar 2019. It is, however, still £94.99 more expensive than Utility Warehouse's 'Double Gold Fixed 10', which was the cheapest.
