Out of the 10 fixed-rate dual fuel tariffs that we compared, Scottish Power's 'Online Fixed Saver December 2017 v2' turned out to be the 2nd cheapest, just £1.83 more expensive per month than the cheapest tariff, Utility Warehouse's 'Double Gold Fixed 10', which given Utility Warehouse's requirement for customers to also take out landline, mobile and broadband services with them too, Scottish Power's more simplistic tariff could perhaps work out better for a lot of customers. In comparison with the most expensive tariff, British Gas's 'HomeEnergy Fixed Mar 2019', you would save a total of £227.38 per year.
