How to sign in to your Opus Energy business account

A standard Opus Energy login takes under a minute. If you have just received your welcome email, allow up to 24 hours for the account to activate before logging in.

    Go to the portal

    Open the Opus Energy business customer portal at the link above. Bookmark it so you do not waste time searching every month.

    Enter your credentials

    Your username is usually the email address you registered with. The password was either set during your first invoice or sent in a welcome email.

    Two-factor authentication

    If your account holds direct-debit details, the portal may text or email a one-time code. Approve it on a device you trust before signing in.

    Confirm the right account

    If your business has multiple sites or meters, the portal will ask you which account you want to manage on the next screen. Pick the right MPAN or MPRN before submitting any meter reading.

Troubleshooting

Can't sign in? Four common fixes

Most Opus Energy login problems fall into one of four categories. Try the matching fix below before calling the support line.

Forgot password

Use the Opus Energy 'forgot password' link on the login page. The reset email lands within 10 minutes,check your spam folder if you cannot see it.

Locked account

After five failed attempts most portals auto-lock the account for 15-30 minutes. Wait the cooldown out rather than retrying instantly; repeated failed attempts can extend the lockout.

Account number mismatch

If the portal rejects your account number, check whether Opus Energy has merged or rebranded since you signed up,your new account number may be on a recent invoice.

Cannot find login email

Search your inbox for 'Opus Energy' plus the word 'welcome' or 'activation'. If still nothing, the registration may not have completed,call the support number below.
