    • Time you want the call
    • Your phone number
  5. Click the red ‘ok’ button.

Other contact details

There are a number of other Click Energy contact methods available. Let’s break them down.

1. Email

Click Energy has three different email addresses - the right one for you depends on why you want to get in touch with the provider.

 Domestic customers

For domestic customers, the correct email address is [email protected]. You can direct any questions you have about your tariff or account to this address. This is also the email to use if you’re thinking of switching to the provider but have a few queries before signing up.

 Business customers

All business queries should be directed to [email protected]. There is limited information on the provider’s website regarding its business plan, so you will have to contact Click Energy if you’re thinking of getting your business energy tariff from the supplier.

 Rural saver tariff

As well as business and domestic tariffs, the supplier also has a tariff designed for farmers. This is known as the rural saver. The correct email address for information on this tariff is [email protected].

2. Live chat

Another Click Energy NI contact method is the supplier’s online live chat. This lets you message a customer service agent from the website and receive an answer almost immediately. We tested this method and our query was satisfactorily answered within minutes so it’s a good option if you want a fast response.

To access the live chat:

  1. Head to the homepage (type Click Energy NI into your search engine and click the response that reads ‘Click Energy - Northern Ireland’s Low-Cost Electricity…’).
  2. On the homepage, click the LIVE CHAT button that’s located at the top of the screen.
  3. A chat window will pop up in the bottom right hand corner of your screen.
  4. Type your question into the ‘Type your message here’ box and press enter.
  5. A customer service agent should reply to you in no time.

3. Social media

Customers can also contact Click Energy through social media. Like a lot of energy suppliers, Click is active on both Facebook and Twitter - just send the team a private message and wait for a response.

4. Online account

From the clickenergyni.com hompage, customers can access their online account. Once logged in, customers can manage their energy account, including monitoring their energy usage and topping up credit when needed.

While this is not exactly a contact method, the online portal might mean you don't actually need to contact Click Energy. You can perform certain tasks without needing to get in touch with Click customer service, and you might find the answers to your questions by simply logging in to your Click Enegry account.

What are Click Energy’s contact hours?

Whichever contact method you opt for, you should not expect a response outside of the Click Energy contact hours. These are Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm, and Saturday from 9am to 4pm.

If you wish to phone the provider, you will only get through to a call agent during these hours. This is also true for the live chat - it is only ‘live’ during these hours, meaning you will not receive an immediate response if you message outside the operating times.

You can use all the other Click Energy contact methods (social media, email, request a call back) outside these hours, but you will not receive a response until the provider reopens. For example, if you send a facebook message on a Sunday, the earliest you will get a reply is Monday after 8am.

Make a complaint

If you have a problem and wish to place an official complaint, you can use the Click Energy phone number or send an email using the same details mentioned earlier:

  • Phone: 0800 1 070 732 *Monday to Friday: 8am-8pm; Saturday: 9am-4pm
  • Email: [email protected]

Click Complaints

If you cannot reach an agreement on how to resolve your complaint, you should call the Consumer Council NI on 0800 121 6022 or email [email protected]. This is a free service that can offer you independent advice about how to proceed.
