The Engie contact number is free to call, with lines open throughout the week from 8am to 8pm and Saturdays 9am until 5pm. Unfortunately, you’re unlikely to have much luck if you try calling on a Sunday or bank holiday.

Feel like you’ve been overcharged for your energy use or simply unhappy with the service provided? Your initial contact should be the Engie customer service team on 0800 280 8000, where you can ask to be put through to a Team Leader. Lines are open Monday to Friday, from 8am to 8pm and Saturdays 9am to 5pm.

If you are unable to come to a resolution over the phone, you can send an email with your customer account details to email@example.com and a dedicated complaints team member will try to solve your issue.
Engie promises to try and resolve all complaints as quickly as possible. However, if you are unsatisfied with the provider’s proposal, you can contact Citizens Advice for free and impartial advice by calling 03454 040 506 or 03454 040 505 if you are a Welsh speaker. Phone lines are open throughout the week from 9am to 5pm, though closed on weekends and bank holidays. This is not a freephone number, so don’t forget to check with your provider if you are unsure how much a call will cost.
If, after eight weeks, you’ve not been able to come to an agreement, Engie will send a “deadlock” letter with its final offer. Following this, you are free to contact the Energy Ombudsman, which will come to an independent decision based on information provided by both sides.

Moving Home with Engie
If you’re a current Engie customer and are in the process of moving home, you’re going to want to let your supplier know. Call the customer service helpline with your final meter reading on 0800 280 8000 between 8am and 8pm the day you are moving house. If you’re moving on a Saturday you’ll want to do this before 5pm, while if it’s a Sunday or bank holiday then it is best to get in touch prior to your moving day, as lines are closed.
