This is the government-approved Summary for Policymakers of the IPCC’s Working Group III, which assesses options for mitigating climate change. It formed part of the Fourth Assessment Report (AR4) and was approved by governments at the 9th Session of Working Group III in Bangkok in 2007. The document should be cited as “IPCC, 2007: Summary for Policymakers. In: Climate Change 2007: Mitigation”, published by Cambridge University Press.
It was prepared by a large international team of drafting authors, including Terry Barker, Igor Bashmakov, Ogunlade Davidson, Michael Grubb and Bert Metz among many others, with the volume edited by B. Metz, O. R. Davidson, P. R. Bosch, R. Dave and L. A. Meyer. For the exact wording, figures and confidence terms, please consult the IPCC original.
