This is the Plan of Implementation of the World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD), a United Nations outcome document. Following an introduction, its chapters set out agreed commitments across the major themes of the summit.

• poverty eradication;
• changing unsustainable patterns of consumption and production;
• protecting and managing the natural resource base of economic and social development;
• sustainable development in a globalising world, and health;
• sustainable development for small island developing States, for Africa and for other regions.

The document is structured as numbered paragraphs grouped by chapter, in the standard form of a negotiated UN plan of action.
