4.Network coverage from O2
Tesco Mobile customers receive their signal from one of the major UK networks: O2. O2 provides coverage across 99% of the UK population, which at this stage is only beaten by EE. Thanks to the O2 network, Tesco Mobile has the highest outdoor voice call coverage in the UK at 90%.
If the O2 network experiences faults in coverage then so too will Tesco Mobile. In December 2018 the O2 network went down for an entire day and affected all smartphone users connected to their network.

Unlocking Tesco Mobile phones Already a Tesco Mobile customer but looking to unlock your phone so that you can go elsewhere? All you need to do to unlock your phone is complete an unlocking request online. If your phone has just been launched you’ll need to wait up till 12 months until you can submit this request.

The Tesco Mobile app has all of the same functionalities as your online account but in an easy to access app. It’s important to keep in mind that Tesco Mobile have two different apps - one for pay monthly customers and a seperate app for pay as you go customers, so make sure that you download the right one.
