Bank of Scotland login problems

If your sign-in is not working, the fastest fix is usually a self-service reset on the login page.

  • Forgotten your username: select Forgotten your details on the login page and confirm your identity with your card details and date of birth.
  • Forgotten your password: select Forgotten your details and follow the password reset flow; you may need to confirm a one-time code by SMS.
  • Locked account: too many wrong attempts will temporarily lock the account; you can unlock it with the same self-service flow or by calling the Internet Banking Helpdesk.
  • Lost or new phone: reinstall the app and re-link to your account; you may need to confirm your identity with a phone code.

Watch out for phishingBank of Scotland will never call, text or email you asking for your password, memorable information or one-time code. If a "bank" contacts you and asks for those details, hang up and call the official Internet Banking Helpdesk.
