Bank of Scotland online banking is the browser equivalent of the Bank of Scotland mobile app. It is available 24/7 (except during planned maintenance) and surfaces every personal product you hold with the bank in a single secure session.
What you can do online
- View balances and transactions on current accounts, savings, ISAs and credit cards.
- See your sort code, account number and IBAN.
- Move money between Bank of Scotland accounts and to other UK or overseas beneficiaries.
- Set up, view and amend direct debits and standing orders.

How to register for Bank of Scotland online banking
If you have a Bank of Scotland account but have never used online banking, registration takes around five minutes. You will need your sort code, account number, your date of birth and your UK mobile number on file with the bank.

- Set a username and a strong password.
- Choose a memorable information word.
- Verify your mobile number with a one-time code by SMS.

Bank of Scotland uses several layers of security to keep your account safe:

- Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) on new payees and online card payments via one-time SMS code or in-app approval.
