Tonik Energy contact number for existing customers

If you’re already a Tonik Energy customer, the speediest way to get in touch with your energy supplier is by calling its Birmingham-based member services team. Read on to find out which phone numbers to call for general enquiries, complaints and emergencies.

Tonik Energy general enquires

For all general Tonik Energy customer service enquiries, such as billing, making changes to your tariff or setting up a direct debit, you can call the Tonik energy phone number on 0333 344 2686. Lines are open Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.

Unfortunately, this number is unavailable at weekends, but you can also either email the provider or use the FAQ on its website to see if your question is answered there.

Tonik Energy complaints contact number

If you need to complain to Tonik for any reason, your first port of call should be the Tonik general enquiries team on 0333 344 2686 (lines open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm) where you can escalate your complaint by asking to speak to a manager. Make sure you have your account details to hand when calling, to speed up the process.

Tonik will make a note of your complaint and keep you updated regularly, if they are not able to solve the issue at first point of contact. If you’re unable to come to an agreement, the provider will issue a ‘Deadlock Letter’, which is a formal written record of the complaint and Tonik’s resolution proposal.

Once eight weeks have passed since the original complaint, you can escalate your issue to the Energy Ombudsman. This is an impartial body which will come to an independent decision based on information from both sides. However, you should note that you’re not bound to accepting this decision if you don’t agree with it.
