EE Broadband Cancellation Fee

Unless you’re out of contract with EE, you may be charged an “EE Broadband Cancellation Fee”. This will cover the remaining time you have left on your EE contract at the time you cancel. The way the charges are calculated are as follows, according to information on the EE website:
- Your monthly charges will be added together, calculated at a daily rate and factoring in any discounts you have
- VAT will be deducted from this amount
- A further 4% for early receipt of payment will be deducted from this balance
- Any credit you have on your account will be factored into the total amount
- Finally, VAT is added at the prevailing rate to get the final charge
Now, this might sound complicated and the easiest way to avoid doing this maths is to wait until your contract with EE has finished. If you still want to cancel early, you can always get in touch with EE to find out how much you would have to pay to leave EE before your contract ends.

When you cancel EE Broadband, you are not required to return your router. You can choose to keep it or recycle it at your local waste management facility.
If you have EE TV, you must return the EE TV Box within 30 days or you will be charged £175 on your final EE bill.
